If you read the description in the Gnu catalog and it makes you go huh when you see "progressive powder park freestyle, maybe this will help. I was not able to demo this board prior to purchasing it, but I tried every Mervin board I could get my hands on to have some idea of what to expect. The first thing that I noticed was that the big side cut makes it feel a little sluggish when carving icy groomers, but that was expected moving up from a 154cm board. The magnatraction is significantly shallower than other models like the carbon credit, or the Lib snow mullet, but it still grips well with noticeably less edge slip than a traditional edge. The banana traction makes this stick very responsive when shredding pow, which is especially nice in the trees. This thing is quicker turning in the trees that my short board. It is stiff enough to soak up the bumps and drops without destroying your legs, but still has enough flex for sick presses. My favorite thing about this board is the pop. I can ollie this board higher out of 6-8" of powder than I ever could on groomers before. All and all my conclusion is that dirty is good, and at times I can get downright nasty on this thing which is even better. If you are looking for a board that will handle the entire mountain and all snow conditions...strap one on and get dirty!
