(More customer reviews)I have used Imak pillow splints for wrist injuries but this is my first use for a compressed ulnar nerve. My condition seems to have improved using the Imak elbow pillow-splint for only a week.
It is a frustrating splint in that it does slide down the arm during the night. It's very difficult to fall asleep with the splint on and in place but it does seem to help my cubital ulner nerve compression. I am still using the splint and would recommend it to anyone trying to improve a compressed ulner nerve with their doctor's permission. Try it if your doctor allows and make sure to have the splint "stick" in front and away from your injury. It wouldn't hurt to have a physical therapist advise you on use of this splint.
For home treatment of "tennis elbow" a Thera-Band flexbar works better. Search for "tennis elbow, Thera-Band flexbar on youtube" to learn the technique....After 20 years suffering from "tennis elbow" three weeks worth of flexbar exercises healed my elbow and ended the pain. There is an article in the NYT about this exercise. Good Luck!
