Carex Coccyx Cushion Review

(More customer reviews)I am a woman with arthritis and MS and am dealing with a crazy amount of pain and tightness in the sacroiliac (SI) joint. I traveled on an airplane recently and tried to simulate what this type of pillow would do with a jacket (no luck). I knew I needed to research and buy a coccyx pillow asap.
I decided on this one over a ring shape because I thought that the shape and memory foam would be more useful in the car, on planes, sitting in meetings or just sitting at the kitchen table. It's been nice and provides a great amount of relief. I've been concerned about the potential for pressure sores for me (I do not use a wheelchair but sit a lot and have very little natural cushion on my tush). This is a nice cushion. Firm enough to seem like it will hold up for some time and with a durable cover and handle.
5 stars.
UPDATE Jan 25 - I love this thing and am going to buy two more (1 for each car). I feel like Linus with his blanket ... I tote the this cushion all over the place :) Simple, logical relief.

Coccyx Cushion - Extra Firm - 16" x 13" x 3" to 1.5" Review

(More customer reviews)I am shocked and saddened to say that this cushion is absolutely useless. Given that almost every single review for the product on Amazon was overwhelmingly positive I hoped it would provide some relief (Not to mention be worth the ridiculous $35 price tag - PLUS $9 for shipping!?), but that is NOT the case AT ALL. Besides the fact that it's overpriced no matter what, this is NOT a "firm" cushion in any way, and immediately gives way under your weight (I am about 5'11" and only weigh 164 lbs. so I am certainly NOT huge by any means). So, it's not very comfortable as a result, and I don't think I even sat on the thing for but 15 - 20 minutes before I couldn't stand it anymore. I totally feel like I wasted my money, and quite a bit of it... There may be a ton of glowing reviews for this product here, but I can't fathom why, and would STRONGLY encourage you to try another product before this one (though sadly I have nothing better to recommend)!

(More customer reviews)I have tried several lumbar back cushions and seat cushion. This is my overwhelming favorite - the gel is firm and comfortable to sit on. I have found the regular foam pillows to be insufficiently supportive and too bulky. This cushion supports the natural curve of my spine, eliminating back and psoas muscle strain. The only challenge is that in a car, you'll need to adjust your car seat for the added height of the cushion. I own 4 of these for the cars, as well as kitchen and office chairs.

Large FIRM Tush Cush Seat Cushion - Navy Review

(More customer reviews)I recently searched for a very firm seat cushion to relieve the stress on my back muscles and tailbone when I sit for long periods of time flying across the country on those ancient 30 yr old airline seats. I purchased this cushion and 2 other competitors to try at home prior to taking this cushion on my last last trip. The cushion was fantastic. I will never fly again without it - in fact, I am using it at home on a few chairs to provide firmer support. This cushion fits perfectly within the airline seat area, provides great firm support, does not compress or fatigue while in use (I am a big guy), and its handle is very convenient when de-boarding; I am very pleased with the solid blue color. I plan to buy a second cushion soon. I am very hard to please and this cushion is Best in Class! Kudos to the designer and company.
