This gives relief from pressure and makes daily life much better.
After only a few days of using it, it has taken away irritation so the pain is better overall.

The New Serola SI Support Belt Review

The New Serola SI Support Belt

I've used this belt before for SI problems that put me down for about six weeks. The belt helps so much (paired with home exercise) and I ran the Napa Marathon after four weeks of being on the belt. The only problem: while the belt helps to support the SI and surrounding tendons, the IT (iliotibial band that runs down the sides of your legs) doesn't receive the support of your back because it's being cut off from the belt. After recovering from SI, I began suffering from IT in both legs which put me down another three weeks. Use the belt in moderation, focus more on home exercise and building your core - that will strengthen and support your SI without having to use the belt so much.

I had an accident about twelve years ago, where I fell on my tailbone. Over time I have started to have a lot of back pain and hip pain. I'm only 25 so that just doesn't work for me. I'm also a Pilates Studio Owner and Instructor. I have recommended this item to a few of my clients who suffer from these problems as well. It definitely helps stabilize the lower back, which stops the pain and helps you get stronger in the exact places you need to. I would definitely recommend this to a lot of people. It keeps you aligned. Thank you so much for reading this.

New Serola Sacroiliac Belt Review

New Serola Sacroiliac Belt

I was injured in a horseback riding accident two years ago and have had serious recurring SI problems ever since. I'm in my fourth go at physical therapy. I've also seen a chiropractor for months, had acupuncture, wear custom orthopedic inserts in my shoes, and sit on a Tempurpedic brand cushion at work, which all reduced my pain somewhat, but didn't help my joints stay in alignment. Treating professionals kept telling me that I really needed to wear an SI belt, but I kept buying SI belts that didn't help or were too uncomfortable to wear.
Finally, my current PT recommended this one. This is by far the best of several SI belts I've tried. Unlike many of them, it's easy to get tight, has some give to it so you still have full range of motion, isn't terribly bulky, and is reasonably comfortable. It also stays where I put it, which other belts didn't. It relieved my SI pain immediately and has helped to keep my hips/pelvis/SI in alignment between physical therapy sessions.
That said, if you wear it a lot or you have sensitive skin, you may need a layer of clothing to keep it from irritating your skin. I don't really view this as a problem--it doesn't have to be much of a layer, so tights/underwear/leggings are enough to do it. I imagine men's boxers would be too, but as I'm a woman, I couldn't tell you for sure. Although it is much smaller than a lot of belts on the market, it will show under a lot of clothes. And even when it doesn't really show, you often look heavier than you really are. And in all but the skinniest users, it will cause horrific muffin top. (My mother thought it was hilarious that her under 30 size 4 daughter has muffin top. I do not find it so amusing.) Fuller skirts hide it, but when I wear pants, I just wear the SI belt over the pants. I'd rather look injured than peculiarly lumpy.
So although I wish someone would hybridize an SI belt with Spanx, creating some kind of super smooth and supportive undergarment (or, better yet, that I didn't need an SI belt in the first place), this works wonders at preventing pain, keeping all my bones where they're meant to be, and is the most comfortable, least unpleasant way of finally arriving at pain-free SI joints.
