Original McKenzie® Cervical Roll Review

Original McKenzie® Cervical Roll

I'd struggled with trying to find the "right" pillow for a long time and lost plenty of sleep with neck pain; finally when the daily pain got really bad, my neurosurgeon prescribed Physical Therapy before resorting to surgery. The therapist recommended a cervical roll--when I went on line to look for one, the McKenzie sort of popped out at me. After comparing, I chose the McKenzie; by combining it and daily exercises, I sleep well and wouldn't dream (pardon the pun) of going to bed or even lying down for a rest without it.

ShouldersBack Posture Support - ShouldersBack Lite - Medium - Black Review

ShouldersBack Posture Support - ShouldersBack Lite - Medium - Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I just recieved my shoulders back posture support brace, and I couldn't be happier.
It fits nicely, and it's much more comfortable than I thought it would be. The fabric isn't irritating, although you can sometimes feel the velcrow if you misplace the straps.
It really does force your shoulders back! It is a constant reminder to sit up straight, but it also does half the work for you.
You can wear it under or on top of clothing, either way is comfortable but it also makes you look some what lumpy if you have a thin t-shirt on.
As soon as I put it on, I could feel it working right away. It is a bit painful because I've been slouching my whole life, but a little pain is definately worth the results.
I would recommend this to anyone who is in need of posture control!

SOFT FORM POSTURE CONTROL BRACE BACK SUPPORT BEIGE LATEX FREE XXL Review

very disappointed in the brace. I have worn a back brace for many years and was looking for one that would help pull my shoulders up so I could work with the abdominal muscles as directed by my doctor. When you sit down the brace rides up your back and it hits your neck, very annoying.

Dr. Levine Back Support, L/XL Review

Dr. Levine Back Support, L/XL
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this product to help improve my posture, as I slouch a bit. I'm a bigger guy (6'4'' 195lbs) and have a fairly large torso. This L/XL was a bit small for me, however it did pull my shoulders back into proper position. A smaller person would have more comfort and greater success in this device.
Pros:
-Pulls my shoulders back into place
-Material seems high quality and washable (a plus if you work out in it)
Cons:
-Small for larger people
-Armpits get rubbed by arm band

ITA-MED TLSO (Thoracic Lumbo Sacral Orthosis) with back pocket, Strong Support,Adult Review

ITA-MED TLSO (Thoracic Lumbo Sacral Orthosis) with back pocket, Strong Support,Adult
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this back brace to help with my constant back pain. I have arthritis of the spine, and I also have poor posture. It makes my upper back hurt all day every day. After getting into this brace I could feel an instant improvement in my posture and during the day my back does hurt less. The straps do rub your chest a lot and can get raw. But I do like the brace, it has improved my posture and the better my posture is, the less I need to use the brace. Provides great support.

Neck and back Stretcher Review

Neck and back Stretcher
Average Reviews:

I wasn't sure which neck support would be best for my neck pain, so I bought both of them.
Both products have their plus & minus but on balance I prefer the Therapeutic Neck Support by North American Healthcare over the Dr. Riter's Real-Ease Neck & Shoulder Relaxer.
The TNS by NAH looks like the NECK AND BACK STRETCHER
Other Get Organized products so they may be the same. I don't know.
http://www.amazon.com/Get-Organized-Therapeutic-Neck-Support/dp/B001L7NV02/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1260581099&sr=8-11
The TNS is more stable, it doesn't rock as easily as the Real-Ease Neck Relaxer.
It is also a bit firmer (ie the cushion feels like it supports the normal lordotic curvature of the cervical spine). The downside for some may be that it may feel too firm, but that firmness is what set it apart from the Real-Ease product. After 15-20 minutes of resting on it, I did feel less pain in my neck. The Real-Ease is quite soft, very relaxing but I didn't feel it was therapeutic. It does rock very easily, so if one falls asleep laying on it, there may be a risk of rocking to the side abruptly. This risk can be mitigated by slipping a small roll shaped pillow or rolled towel under the plastic tongue in the front.
Overall, both appear to be quality products in my opinion.
