(More customer reviews)I think pillows are a very personal issue and what is good for one person won't always be good for another. Large, high, hard pillows give me stiff necks and headaches; smaller, thinner and softer pillows work for me. So I use the Cocoon both for traveling and at home.
At home it goes with a low, larger down pillow and does a good job of cushioning my neck. While traveling, it's great on airplanes and also to replace bad hotel pillows (especially the rock-hard lumpy kind). I've used the Cocoon as my solo pillow on numerous occasions and have slept very well, thank you.
Unfortunately, I managed to lose my Cocoon pillow and am now buying another one. I love this little pillow (it's 10 x 13, not 10 x 14) because it's so soft and comfortable, near perfect for me. At home I use it with a small normal pillowcover, and now I'm also gettiing a Cocoon pillowcover to go with it for travel.
The only thing I can complain about is it being black. I know this makes sense for a travel pillow, but that was the reason I lost mine!
